A friendly wager
Thanks to Wisconsin's 13-3 victory over the Nittany Lions last month, I won a bet with WFY. My winnings were a box of Grilled Stickies, which I'm told is a staple of The Diner in State College and a Penn State tradition since 1929.
Stickies are sort of like a combination of French toast and Morning Buns. Or perhaps, for those unfamiliar with Ovens of Brittany, a combination of French toast and Cinnabons.
Anyway, they're very good.

I'm guessing Pokey Stix were the counter-offer?
If Penn State had won, I would have given WFY a block of cheese shaped like a cow. (Fried cheese curds don't travel well.)
In any case, Gumby's Pizza has a location in State College, Pa.
Sounds good, dl004d, glad you enjoyed it. I look forward to the cheese next year. Someday, when we are rich and can afford to ship things packed with dry ice, we'll have to upgrade the bet to ice cream from the respective creameries.
Does Madison have D.P. Dough, La Bamba, and Cluck U as well?
We've got La Bamba. Thank goodness no Cluck U that I know of.
I like Cluck U. Well, as far as fried chicken goes.
When I grow up, I'm going to Cluck-Bovine University.
We HAD La Bamba, but it closed. I think it was because the burritos weren't actually as big your head.
