This ought to rile up WFY

"When I think I can't do the job that Penn State deserves as head coach, I'll start to think about getting out," Joe Paterno said.

So when he realizes he can't do the job, he'll keep doing it. But he will at that point start to think about getting out. How nice of him.

Actually, this doesn't get me upset because I know the way things are a Penn State. Paterno has the job as long as he wants/lives because the AD or president won't go down in history as the guy who fired Joe Paterno. If they couldn't fire him after 2004, the never will unless he pulls a Woody Hayes kind of thing.

Can we can a prediction of how long it will take until Keith Jackson's name appears on this page?

keith jackson is a name inscribed in the book of sports infamy.
his oleaginous, deceitful protection of woody hayes set back standards of probity in sports reporting for many years----to this very day.
