No earthquakes on federal holidays, please
The U.S. geological survey confirmed that the District had a tiny earthquake today, measuring 1.8 on the Richter scale.
WTOP reports that "people may feel more rumblings over the next few days from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m."
Huh?
Is this an earthquake swarm that only works during business hours?
Edit: Instant-Ethos points out that I didn't pay attention to the WTOP report, which clearly says construction blasts at Ft. Belvoir would be the cause of the business hours rumblings.

Five words: Top Secret Government Weather Machine.
The article is clearly referencing rumblings that may be caused by construction blasts at Ft. Belvoir. And the author clearly differentiates between the earthquake the scheduled construction activity. Did you even read the article you linked to?
The rumbling will come from the top-secret government weather machine, which will be tested during normal business hours.
There will also be hurricane and floods between those hours.
