Plane spotting

Gravelly Point is a few hundred feet north of National Airport's runway, making it a loud place to hang out. (Actually, it's only loud for a few seconds every couple minutes.)

With the exception of people standing in the middle of the Mount Vernon Trail, I really like Gravelly Point. I'm convinced a friend of mine hit a landing gear with a nerf football over twenty years ago.
