I've lived in Northwest D.C. at 30th & N, 20th & Belmont and 10th & L.
Although the established rate of 10 blocks east per move meant that Marnie & I should have settled on North Capitol Street (the equivalent of Zero Street), we instead moved a bit further east into a neighborhood called Brookland.
That was exactly one year ago today. Life is good here in Northeast D.C. — pretty much the same as in Northwest... only quieter and harder to find a cab.
Note: At the time of this writing, Google has 133 hits for "housiversary" and only 75 for "houseiversary." I'm going with the majority.
