I wonder if she'll outsource work to Eric Dickerson

Bonnie Bernstein has resigned from her job at CBS with three years still remaining on her contract because "she became frustrated over the network's philosophical approach to the sideline reporter's role."

These days, Bernstein runs a new company called Velvet Hammer Media. In her new role, Bernstein charges $1,250 for a one-on-one phone consultation with aspiring broadcasters. For $2,150, she'll follow up with three more conversations.

Over the phone, Bernstein will evaluate a client's appearance and provide guidance for job search strategies.

I'll grant her this much: As a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Maryland-College Park and a member of the Board of Directors for that school's journalism program, she's more qualified for this consulting job than Lisa Guerrero.

The rumors, which Dan LeBatard helped spread on his radio show (WAXY 790 in Miami), were of a romantic liaison between Bonnie Bernstein and Bill Belichick.

When something goes unused or becomes obsolete, it's said to become a paperweight. Is your cellphone slow and out of date? It's become a paperweight. Is your laptop too slow to use? It's become a paperweight. Do you never use your Apple Vision Pro? It's become a paperweight. Weirdly, paper itself has become a paperweight. People do their work on laptops, tablets, and phones. Most homes don't have printers. Not only do we not need paperweights, we barely need paper!
