Even better than beating the Taliban regime?

Last week, President Bush granted an Oval Office interview to Kai Dickmann of the German newspaper Bild.

According to the transcript, Bush commented on the best moment of his presidency:

"I would say the best moment was when I caught a seven-and-a-half pound large mouth bass on my lake."

Well that depends. The WH transcript (not that they've ever altered these things) says Bush claimed to have caught a bass. Daily Kos and Reuters say it was a perch.

When something goes unused or becomes obsolete, it's said to become a paperweight. Is your cellphone slow and out of date? It's become a paperweight. Is your laptop too slow to use? It's become a paperweight. Do you never use your Apple Vision Pro? It's become a paperweight. Weirdly, paper itself has become a paperweight. People do their work on laptops, tablets, and phones. Most homes don't have printers. Not only do we not need paperweights, we barely need paper!
