Finally, some retail on my block

I'm not really a coffee drinker, but I'm pleased to see that a coffeehouse is set to open across the street from my house.

Welcome to the neighborhood, Cafe Cozy Corner. If you turn out to be a nice place, I'll look past the fact that you aren't located on a corner.

Once the convention center hotel is delivered, 1010 Massachusetts is occupied, The Eldon is renovated, 1111 11th St and The Whitman are full it will be a great Cozy Corner Cafe.

When something goes unused or becomes obsolete, it's said to become a paperweight. Is your cellphone slow and out of date? It's become a paperweight. Is your laptop too slow to use? It's become a paperweight. Do you never use your Apple Vision Pro? It's become a paperweight. Weirdly, paper itself has become a paperweight. People do their work on laptops, tablets, and phones. Most homes don't have printers. Not only do we not need paperweights, we barely need paper!
