In my glory days, when I walked from 25th and M to 15th and M every morning before 6 a.m., I was friends with all the guys who did that for the buildings along my route. Don't know if the soap helps, but at least they're keeping the city somewhat clean.

It's non-toxic and biodegradable, right?

Soap cuts oil and grease. Oil and grease make surfaces slippery. Makes pretty good sense to me.

Slippery? How often have you found the sidewalk to be slippery? Marnie points out that soap helps remove the smell of urine.
