Rainbow on the block

Yesterday at AFI Silver, I saw "The Muppet Movie" for the first time. Hearing "The Rainbow Connection" inspired me to post this picture I took the other day after a rainstorm.

OK, but after spending most of July 4 weekend denigrating the Muppets, the question remains: How did you like the movie?

Answer carefully.

I enjoyed it (although not as much as the adults around me). It's a classic.

The Muppets rock. End of story. But tell me you at least saw Star Wars as a child? I hate to have the wrong impression about what it's like to grow up in Wisconsin.

I saw "Star Wars," but I'm too young to have seen it in the theater.

it also took DL004D 32 years to see any of the Indiana Jones movies. What a travesty--what movies did his parents take him to as a child?

And why did they only feed him green peppers and tuna once he was there?

for what it's worth, I grew up in the same house and not only saw the Muppet Movie approximately 1200 times but also every Star Wars & Indy movie in the theater. It's true I had an age advantage but this one also had a "everybody in the family loves this movie therefore I will refuse to watch it" thing going. I'm just saying.

SAL speaks the truth. (Although I don't remember refusing to see the Muppet Movie. I was three years old!)
