My hunt for petroglyphs

BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. — For my lunch hour yesterday, I hiked around Rinconada Cavern at the Petroglyph National Monument, home of rock carvings from the ancestors of today's Pueblo Indians. Puebloans have lived in the Rio Grande Valley since around 500 A.D.

I was the only human for as far as the eye could see, leading me to talk to myself a bit.

As you can see from the pictures below, I did encounter a petroglyph or two.
