The need for speed

Internet connection speeds in the United States are slow compared to other places around the world, not that Americans seem to care. The world's Internet speed leader is Mason, South Korea. And in fact the world's top 10 cities with the fastest Internet connections are all in South Korea.

"The U.S. is being pummeled by cities in Asia and Europe when it comes to Internet connectivity," reports the Wall Street Journal.
